Returns & Exchanges


We make it easy! Initiate your return or exchange here. (P.S. returns for store credit and exchanges within the U.S. are free!) All returned products must be in unused, pristine condition with original tags attached and hygienic liners intact.

  • Exchange: Free exchanges must be initiated within 21 days of the order's delivery date.
  • Return for store credit: Free returns for store credit must be initiated within 21 days of the order's delivery date.
  • Return for original form of payment: Returns must be initiated within 21 days of the order's delivery date. Mail-in returns have a $8 handling fee per return label, which is waived if you opt for an exchange or store credit refund. 

All underwear, bralettes, towels, face coverings and monogrammed purchases are considered final sale and not eligible for return or exchange. No exchanges will be supported for International orders. We are unable to cancel or change shipping methods for Instant Exchanges.

Please note, site promotions may have different return and exchange policies. Please review promotion FAQs and their return and exchange policies here. Please note that promotion codes cannot be applied to exchanges.

Any items purchased in-store at Myrtle Beach, West Palm Beach, or Nashville can be returned online only for store credit. Please contact our Customer Happiness team to initiate the store credit by emailing

Summersalt products are not eligible for replacement or exchange if they are not purchased from our website. This includes wholesale and resale purchases.


To get your package ready:

1. Create and print your shipping label here.
2. Attach the label to the reusable mailer from your original order, or to any other shipping mailer of your choice.
3. Put your package in your mailbox or USPS drop box, or deliver it to any USPS location

Please note orders must be returned within 21 days of the delivery date.

Packages shipped with a different shipping label than the one provided may not receive a refund or the refund may be delayed. Customers are responsible for printing their shipping label. Contact for questions regarding the return label.


We process returns and refunds as soon as we receive them. Please allow 1-2 weeks for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.


When making an exchange, the replacement product(s) will be sent when the return package is in transit on its way back to us. You’ll receive an email with new tracking information when the new items you ordered are on their way.

Exchanges must be returned within 21 days of your original delivery.


If you selected a refund to your credit card, the refund will be applied to the card used to make the purchase.

If you selected a refund to store credit, your digital store credit will be emailed to you when the items are received at our fulfillment center.


Original shipping charges are not refunded when the order has been returned.

First, double-check your order number and shipping zip code to make sure they are correct. Your order number can be found on your packing slip or any email correspondence related to your order.

You can also try a different web browser, or turn off pop-up blockers temporarily.

With instant exchanges, your new exchange order is placed immediately. This helps you get your items faster and guarantees that your items are in stock.

To place an instant exchange, we will put a temporary hold on your credit card for $1.00 until we receive your unwanted items (kind of like booking a hotel). You’ll only be charged for the amount covered by your returned items if your return isn’t in the mail within 14 days of submitting.

Instant exchanges are unable to be cancelled or edited after placement. We appreciate your understanding!
