Payments are automatic, however, Zip charges late fees in certain instances, such as if your payment cannot be processed because your debit card account has insufficient funds, or your credit card is no longer valid.

In such instances, Zip will charge a $7 late fee after the first missed payment, plus an additional $7 fee billed 7 days thereafter, if the payment is still outstanding.
